About Amy Parks, PhD, LPC, ACS

Amy Fortney Parks, PhD, LPC, ACS is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia, and an Accredited Clinical Supervisor. She completed graduate work in Psychological Services at Marymount University in 1994, and has held licensure as both a School Counselor, and School Psychologist in Virginia. Dr. Parks holds a doctorate in Educational Psychology from Capella University/Johns Hopkins University with a specialization in development neuroscience.

She is currently the owner of a group private practice in Northern Virginia serving children, teens and families. The Wise Family Counseling, Assessment & Education provides individual and group counseling services, psychoeducational & ADHD assessment, as well as workshops and trainings throughout the country.
