About Emily Powell, LPC, LMHC:
Hi there! I'm Emily (she/her), a relatable and authentic mental health professional dedicated to helping young adults reconnect with their true selves.
I believe therapy is about more than just finding solutions—it's about building a deep, meaningful relationship that allows us to explore and heal the root causes of your struggles. My approach is attachment and relational-based, focused on creating a nurturing and healing relationship between you and I, so that you can grow your relationship with yourself and those around you.
I hold a Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Counseling and Mental Health program and have extensive experience in various mental health settings, including community mental health, intensive outpatient care, and private practice. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania.
When I’m not in session, you’ll find me enjoying coffee, yoga, travel, and connecting with new people. I bring my full self into our sessions, combining professionalism with a genuine, approachable style to foster authentic connections. I can’t wait to learn more about you!
