About Joshua Terhune, MA, LMHC:

Joshua Terhune is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who offers individual and family therapy for adults, adolescents, and children. He has over 10 years of experience working with a diverse range of individuals in terms of socioeconomic status, age, race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and presenting concerns.

When asked, patients often share with Joshua that he is easy to talk to, understands his patients on a deeper level, challenges his patients in a way that is warm, caring, and not judgmental or criticizing, and provides a refreshing, non-toxic male perspective.

Joshua is a graduate of Ball State University where he earned his Masters degree in Counseling Psychology and his Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science. 

Prior to opening his private practice, Joshua served as an outpatient therapist at a group private practice. Josh’s experience includes working with victims and survivors of trauma, abuse, and neglect at a community mental health center, helping college students at the Ball State Counseling Center, and the completion of an internship at a domestic violence shelter and a suicide hotline.
